When Cyril from Video Me first contacted us his website was not getting traffic organically and he was concerned that there was no increase in visitors across a long period of time. We undertook an analysis of the website to determine why there was such poor level of traffic. After an analysis we determined that the majority of the textual content was contained in Flash. This meant that search engines were not indexing the text. There was one URL in the site that was not SEO friendly, which was not good for the SEO value of the website. The combination of these issues was leading to the website performing poorly in search engines.
We set about developing a strategy for Video Me to increase traffic and promote their website online. The first step was to change the Flash website into a CMS website. This enabled the website to be more SEO friendly and gave Cyril creative control over the content. We created a stylish slideshow at the top of the website to contain images and text that linked through to landing pages. Content was developed and Keyword research helped to optimise text, Meta Tags, URLs and Images throughout the website.

We created both a booking form and check availability form for the website. These forms help encourage visitors to contact Video Me. Calls to action like these are important for any website. We developed social media identities using Facebook, YouTube, LinekIn, Weedle and Blogger identities. The next stage of the development for Video Me is to create a dedicated blog website.
Traffic and inquires on the Video Me website have risen steadily since we developed the new website. The combined effort of the new website, social media identities and SEO techniques have given Video Me a platform to grow online. We look forward to the launch of their blog website in October. So, watch this space for the new Video Me blog.
