Twitter is a great way to communicate with potential customers and existing customers online. You have a direct line of communication and due to this Twitter is one of the most popular forms of social media worldwide.  When you sign up to Twitter you can choose a variety of background colours for your profile.

While these are nice designs, they don’t reflect the ethos or theme of a company. In order to reflect the ethos or theme of your company you can create a custom background. A background image on Twitter is an opportunity to use imagery that is clever and memorable.  You can promote your services, yourself or your company with an eye catching design. To create a custom Twitter background design you have to:

1) Create your design - The design should be 1920 x 1080 pixels. Remember to save for web as you don’t want your image too large.

2) Once you have your design complete. Login to Twitter with your username and password.

3) Then go to Settings – Design

4) Then click change background image. Browse for your file and upload. Once you have uploaded your image you can then view it on your Twitter profile page.
