SEO Tips of the Day

Recently some clients of Organic SEO Specialists have been requesting information on how to get extra links under their URL.  Are they PPC? How do we add these links under our standard website link and description? These were some of the questions asked. Well, to answer both these questions:

1)     They are not PPC links.
2)    “We” cannot add these links under our standard URL link.

These extra links are one of the many experiments that Google is constantly doing. (see Google Instant). The links appear due to Google’s algorithm. Therefore they are organically constructed by Google. We cannot pay to have these links or decide what links to have there. What we can do though is help Google choose the right links by:

1)    Having a good navigational structure in the menu.
2)    NOT have a Flash menu.
3)    Use SEO friendly URLs in our menu.
4)    Have strong internal links throughout the website.

They are a great feature to have come up in Google search results so if you follow a few simple steps they will appear organically over time.
