Ongoing SEO

We have a number of clients who we help on an ongoing basis to keep their sites prominent in search for particular search terms.  I will take a few examples

Appliance Repairs in Dublin

1.  Active Appliance Repairs - a small business which specialises in the repair of home appliances such as dishwasers, washing machines, washer dryer repairs and more.  We track 11 keywords for them and they are all now on page 1 of Google SERPs.

Organic Search or an Adwords campaign, which is best.

To answer this question you will need to examine a number of topics. The sector you are involved in and how developed this sector is online. How advanced are you in terms of online marketing.

Using Video to Promote Your Business

Video for BusinessVideo for Business

Video is a critical component when it comes to online marketing. Having video on a web page increases conversion rates siignificantly. Some companies advertise that they do "viral" videos but in reality no one can guarantee that a video will go viral.

In 2011, YouTube had more than 1 trillion views which equates to almost 140 views for every person on Earth.

With those kind of figures, you obviously need video to promote your company but you need to use it in a valid manner. For instance, if you want a video on the home page of your website, it should be professionally done. Hire a good local videographer to come to your workplace and create a piece to camera or show your premises off, if it a visually attractive shop or hotel etc.

Inside the website you can be a bit more creative. For instance you can use something like Animoto to create videos of your products using images - just top and tail the video with your logo and contact details and you can create a video is a few minutes. If you're feeling adventerous you can do a video blog. A short video of you explaining a new development or product in your industry would make a good blog. Also within your blog you can also just use exissting videos from YouTube (or elsewhere) to illustrate your point.

Choosing the right SEO Company for you

One of our clients, Shop 4 Glasses, received an e-mail from an SEO company last week. The subject had me laughing for the whole day as there was an obvious misspelling! “Oganic SEO for Shop 4 Glasses” was the subject heading; spot the obvious spelling mistake.

Content and Online Marketing

Content has been promoted from King

Content Generation for Search

The catch phrase in the online marketing arena and indeed for us at BeFound has for a long time been “Content is King”, but it’s gone beyond that now.
